We’re a brand who truly do all that it takes to position the customer at the centre of everything that we do. And, after hearing that our customers wanted us to take things a step further, by designing beautiful starts to their little ones’ journeys, we kick-started Petit Rooms, to refresh and re-create nursery spaces.

Paton and I, and the Petit Love team, celebrated Petit Room’s launch by giving away two creative nursery consultations to two lucky, social media winners – meet Zikhona and Olivia!

Hello, Zikhona & Ubuntu

Up, Up and Away Nursery.

Nursery insperation

Zikhona, and almost 1-year old, Ubuntu, needed us to help them brainstorm some charming ways to utilise their shared master bedroom/nursery space.

We were delighted to see that Zikhona already had some very special pieces, and the way we saw it, there were only two options!

So, Paton and I put our thinking caps on, and focused on repositioning Ubuntu’s cot to build the illusion of a ‘room within a room’. We used the exisitng colour palette to enhance the room’s features. Canopies are on really on trend right now – and make little ones feel royal, so adding one above Ubuntu’s bed could be nothing but wonderful!

For all of the women reading this, we can’t deny it – we love shoes! But Zikhona’s amazing walk-in closet could also function (with shoes tucked away neatly) as a hideaway – perfect for a compactum and rocking chair.

Pleased To Meet You, Olivia & Mathilda

Fairies Playground Nursery

Baby Room decor insperation

Olivia, and adorable daughter, Mathilda invited us into their home filled with sentimental, timeless heirlooms.

The first thing that catches your eye when you enter Mathilda’s nursey is delicate, framed pixie artworks, so we sought to build on this subtle, whimsical theme.

Then, we got to what we do best! We chose an armoire that matched the compactum that Olivia had already and selected some soft accessories. Of course, they complimented the pink and stone colour scheme.

To put the cherry on top of Mathilda’s “big girl room”, we added an extra soft, neutral rug so that she could play and explore to her heart’s content.

Olivia said, “I got lots of great insights on small changes, which could make a big difference to Mathilda’s room. We loved that any suggestions the Petit Rooms team made would last our daughter for years to come!”
